I have experimented with metal foils and leaf, mainly silver, combining them with sheet glass, finely crushed glass (frit), and glass powders, firing them at different temperatures.

Chemical changes occur when glass and metal are heated, creating unusual colors and textures.  I spent several years trying different techniques, and finding ways to control the chemical reactions; however, sometimes “accidents” produced exciting results.

Subsequently, I experimented with glass-powder lattice-panels combined with digital photography or painting as background.

I also had photographs printed on different types of glass, such as sandblasted sheet glass or sheets of glass made with glass powder, producing a watercolor paper-like edge.

Currently I am also creating abstract digital paintings.  These are very much influenced by my work in glass and photography.
